• Licenses are required by Mexican authorities and all representatives of Ripple Sport Fishing.  Mexican authorities will impose fines if you are caught fishing without a license.

• Limits are strictly enforced by Mexican authorities.  They are in place to protect the fishery and we believe in them too.  Mexican authorities will impose fines if you are caught violating these regulations.

• If you do not show up for your charter, you will not receive a refund.

• If the weather is too bad, i.e. hurricanes, high wind and waves, or severe thunderstorms, at the discretion of either the captain or Ripple Sport Fishing, the boat will not leave the dock.  We will attempt to reschedule your charter for another day.  If your schedule does not allow for this you will receive a 100% refund.

• Bait is not included in the price of charter.  It is possible to purchase bait for approximately $20 usd when available either from your captain or a bait boat.
• The two reasons that we do not include bait in the charter price is, first sometimes it is simply not available, and second different types of fishing require different amounts and types of bait.  For example, if you're trolling for marlin, you might like $10usd worth of sardines and you can catch the mackerel and skipjack tunas in the morning on sabiki jigs.  However, if you're going bottom fishing or fishing off the rocks you would probably like to have as many sardines as you could fit in the bait tank, maybe $20usd to $40usd worth depending on the size of the boat's bait tank.  I personally like to have as much bait on board as possible, it keeps your options open and it's never fun to run out of bait if that's all the fish are biting on.  All of our boats carry gear for catching mackerel, skipjack, and bonita at no additional cost to you.

• Tips are customary though not required, most clients tip 10-20% of the cost of charter.
